Role: Frontend Developer → Full-Stack Developer

The Problem.
A growing company tracked physical assets — laptops, monitors, furniture, equipment — across multiple departments using spreadsheets. There was no central source of truth. Duplicate entries, missing items, and manual reconciliation were daily frustrations.
As the company scaled, the spreadsheet model broke entirely.
the solution.
I joined the project as a Frontend Developer, building the initial UI from a pre-built .NET HTML theme to establish a consistent, scalable foundation.
As the team’s junior developers needed support, I stepped into a Full-Stack role and took ownership of critical backend features:
Designed a role-based access system (Admin, Manager, User) with granular permissions
Implemented full CRUD operations for asset tracking across departments
Built Excel import/export functionality with predefined templates — allowing bulk updates and easy reporting
Optimized MSSQL queries and improved frontend rendering for faster load times
the outcome.
A stable, scalable internal tool that replaced fragmented spreadsheets with a single source of truth. The client gained:
Real-time visibility into asset location and status
Reduced administrative overhead
Clean audit trails for compliance and reporting
Why I Include This Project?
This project represents one of my strengths: I don’t stay in my lane. I see what the team needs and I adapt. I’m comfortable owning features end-to-end, even when they stretch beyond my initial role.
